Shaheed Asad Khan Achakzai Foundation(SAAF) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental, rights and responsibilities-based organization registered under the Section 42 of Companies Act 2017 of Pakistan serving to improve the well-being of communities and citizens of Pakistan by creating their awareness of the basic rights and ensuring their access to those rights. Our foundation is dedicated to holistic well-being, promoting positive change through free education, legal services, and safeguarding children, committed to creating a compassionate and equitable Community.

Shaheed Asad Khan Achakzai, a Pashtun leader, devoted his life to serving his people. Born on July 6, 1975, in Mudra Karez, he faced early challenges, losing his father, yet pursued education with determination, earning a master's degree from Balochistan University. His thirty-year political journey, notably with the Awami National Party, focused on raising his voice for regional issues in the Chaman region. Asad Khan, known for composure and avoiding social media, emphasized genuine connections with people.
Apart from politics, he dedicated efforts to education and community development, collaborating with civil organizations to uplift thousands of children and advocate for minority rights. A prominent figure in Southern Pashtunkhwa, Asad Khan played a vital role in movements, including organizing a sit-in against the closure of the Pak-Afghan Chaman border in 2020. His tragic end in 2020, marked by his abduction and martyrdom, underscores the challenges faced by political figures. Shaheed Asad Khan Achakzai's legacy extends beyond politics, embodying a commitment to education, social justice, and inclusive politics, leaving a lasting impact.
